KAHWA COFFEE ROASTERS

  • BRANDING

  • PACKAGE DESIGN

  • PHOTOGRAPHY

  • CONTENT CREATION

Kahwa Coffee Roasters is the largest coffee chain based in Florida, with over 14 locations across the state. I had the opportunity to work alongside the team at Wax&Hive to create a new brand identity, as well as several packaging assets for Kahwa Coffee Roasters.

As the lead Senior Designer, I was the main point of contact for this client, and helped oversee our team on the rebrand project. Fellow designer Josh Rinard created the primary logo mark, which lead to our final brand identity and the elaboration into package design.

While working with Kahwa Coffee Roasters, I was able to create two can designs for their Cold Brew and Nitro Coffee products, developing assets that would be used throughout their brand and future packaging designs.

COFFEE THAT
SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.

Kahwa Coffee Roasters was looking to develop a can of cold brew coffee that was straight to the point. Coffee that spoke for itself. When designing these cans, we decided to pull ideas and inspiration from parts of Kahwa’s new brand identity, as well as some of the classic Kahwa features it’s loyal guests have grown to love. The subtle creation of the vertical stripe pattern used on the can design are a direct reference to Kahwa’s coffee cups that are an iconic part of the brand.

SO MUCH MORE
THAN A REBRAND.

While working with Kahwa Coffee Roasters, I also had the pleasure of handling many different tasks from social media content creation, photography, brand asset creation, physical application of new logos and brand assets. I loved seeing a new brand identity take its shape inside of the store locations—or even on their unique Kahwagon—by hand painting logos and marks for the world to see.
